ACX Pacific Northwest took part in the 5^th annual Progressive Agriculture Safety Day held at Elam Farms near Turner, Oregon. The educational event was held on May 28th and 29th and was sponsored by Cascade FFA Alumni Chapter in conjunction with the Progressive Agriculture Foundation.

Wendy Coates, Safety Day Coordinator, stated more than 300 3rd and 4th grade students from several area elementary schools participated in a series of farm-safety sessions.  Educational seminars included Power-Take-Off Safety, All Terain Vehicle Safety, Hearing Protection, Fire Arm Safety, Sun Safety, Hidden Hazards Awareness, Look-A-Like Poisons awareness, Wilderness Survival, Electrical Safety, Fire Safety & First Aid, and 9-1-1 (emergency) Simulation.
