ACX Pacific Northwest, founded in 1979 by Michael Gombos and his sons, John and Michael Jr., is the leading processor of high quality, custom packaged dairy feed products. ACX specializes in Premium Alfalfa, Sudan Grass, Bermuda Hay, various grass straws, and hay cubes. In addition, ACX sells a variety of horse & dairy feed products such as beet pulp pellets, soy bean meal, whole cotton seed, and various grains and mixed feeds.

Unmatched Products and Processes

These forage products are grown under contract and through partnerships with growers in California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, and Santiago, Chile. Supplying products from the world's premier farming regions enables ACX to assure customers in the finest quality. The products are barn-stored or shipped to the company's processing facilities in Ellensburg, Washington; Albany, Oregon; and Wasco, California as well as other sites for custom packaging and processing. These products are then shipped in ocean-going containers to Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hawaii, and other Pacific Rim destinations. The ACX forage procurement system, its processing plants and storage facilities are unparalleled in the agriculture industry.

Always Consistent and Always Steady

ACX has established a true competitive advantage in the agricultural feed export market. This advantage is based on the company's ability to supply high quality, value-added, custom packaged dairy feed on a price effective basis. The key elements of this competitive advantage are that ACX is the only exporter which has elected to stage its processing facilities near the major West Coast ports. This allows ACX to bring product together from greatly diverse areas for process and shipment. This strategic placement of processing & shipping facilities coupled with widely dispersed growing, acquisition, storage, and transportation operations gives ACX unequaled geographic diversity and strength. This geographic diversity reduces the risks associated with climate and weather changes, water supply interruptions, and the like, to ensure cosnistent and steady supply of products.
